She has guided many youngsters from first time riders (Short Stirrup) to championship competition (the Medal and Maclay Finals).  Adult riders can choose from the competitive Adult Hunter and Amateur Owner Divisions or a recreation riding program.

Carla has consistently qualified students for National, Regional, and Zone Finals in Harrisburg, as well as Junior Hunter and USEF medal Finals at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, the ASPCA Finals, USET Finals, as well as Junior Jumpers and Junior Hunters at Devon and Washington, D.C.

In addition to her long list of accomplishments, Carla is also a USEF licensed judge

Emily Voorhees
Emily teaches beginner to advanced students.  Prior to working at Zephyr, Emily worked as a student, schooling horses for owners and riding school horses, keeping them safe for schooling programs.  Through her love and respect for horses, her hard work and her friendly attitude, she quickly earned the respect of many as a true horse-woman.  In addition to teaching, Emily accompanies her students to shows all over the country.

Sunshine Greco
Sunshine teaches beginner to advanced students.  She started working at Zephyr in 1996. She began riding when she was eight years old (at this same barn!).  She was a working student throughout high school and earned many awards at rated shows throughout the tri-state area.
Sunshine earned an Associates Degree in Equine Science from Cobleskill College.  After graduating from college, Sunshine worked at a farm in Connecticut before moving back to NY.  Sunshine runs the Summer Camp program and accompanies her students to many horse shows.
